In San Jose, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across California, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Jose follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Best Bagels in the Area - I mean it. Iβve tried them all β¦. And this place delivers in flavor, chew, and freshness. The owner and main cook is the kindest and most humble, too. She often gives us recommendations and time and time again we are so pleased! Our current obsession is the garlic bagel tuna sandwich and the taro smoothie. Easy place for an after school snack/ before sports and extracurricular activities, weekend brunch and lunch, and fun mother-daughter shopping dates :)

Basket Bagel Cafe has quickly become one of my go-to breakfast spots. The early hours make it easy to swing by before work, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. Everything is fresh, fast, and exactly what you expect every time. The BLT is a standoutβcrispy, balanced, and not overloaded with grease like most places. You can tell they care about quality and execution, not just volume. The bagels are soft but still have that proper chew, and the sandwiches are built right. Itβs the kind of place that just worksβno gimmicks, no surprises, just solid food done well.

Soft fresh bagels. Freshly cooked eggs. Crispy bacon. Good coffee. This place has everything you want in a bagel shop. The only bad thing is it's not closer to my house!!! Most bagel shops have good filling but dry bagels or the opposite. But this place has both. You won't regret coming here!

Overall I liked the place and plan to go back. Our normal bagel place always burns the bagels toppings so I wanted to try a new bagel place. This place did a really good job at toasting a bagel. They also have some really good breakfast bagel flavors. I got the delight, it has mushrooms and chives in it and it was awesome. I also grabbed a almond croissant and it was delicious. When I got home everyone said their food was delicious. Parking is large and free, inside looks new and clean, and the menu is large so lots to choose from. The only reason for one less star is I didn't feel very welcomed. I walked in and the employees all look and glance but no smiles and they look tired. I look at the menu and go to the counter. I noticed too late it was the pickup counter but I approached it because the employee said help from that counter and asked what he could get me. He was very efficient at filling my order, I asked details on the teas and he answers swiftly. After a you get woman places my order on the counter after announcing the drink, she looked at me, no smile, but I assumed mine so I grab it and go back and sit down a couple feet away. When my order is ready I go to pick up,

I noticed the small sign while turning into the shopping center on Foxworthy, near Angry Chiks and Vim & Vigor Gym. That morning, I was heading in for a workout and thought, βAfter the gym, Iβm going to check this place out.β Iβm so glad I did! The food was amazing, and the coffee was freshly brewed, piping hot, and delicious. The bathroom was clean and smelled great, and the tables were spotless and nicely spaced out. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. I ordered the jalapeΓ±o bagel with sausage, egg, and cheeseβand wow, it was mouthwateringly good! The price was very reasonable for the quality of food and service I received. I enjoyed my first visit so much that I went back for more. If youβre looking for a genuine, authentic-tasting breakfast spot at a fair price, this is the place to go. I hope you enjoy and share your experience
